Happy Birthday Taylor!!

Happy Birthday to you Taylor. Drove downtown Salt Lake to have a special birthday lunch with daddy. McDonald's hamburger was requested (I chose to eat somewhere else). What a fun time!

Welcome to our family Steve!

Monday a new member to our family was brought home. His name is Steve. Although Steve will probably only be with our family a year (depending on how strong of a fish he is), Taylor is already attached. Steve gets a morning greeting every day and takes his naps in Taylor's room with Taylor. The other two like Steve when it is their turn to feed him; but Taylor will sit on the table and just talk to him like they are old buddies.

Do you ever wonder to yourself "why does Rachel take more than one photo of her kids? She might as well just take the one because taking more doesn't mean they ever get better."

Still Trying

A few entries ago I said thank you to Lightning Mcqueen. Yeah - that was a one time occurrence. I don't know what it is, but going #2 on the toilet is not in Taylor's plans any time soon. *sigh* We visited Grandma and Grandpa Walker over spring break and they both tried to get him more excited about pooping in the potty. The following pictures demonstrate the efforts perfectly.

Grandpa cheering Taylor on with chants of "poop poop poop poop"

Grandpa and Taylor sharing a beater from the brownie batter. It's getting exhausting thinking new ways to make going poop fun. Help!

Easter Weekend Activities

Just some pictures of our Easter weekend festivities. Enjoy!

Egg coloring. Can't leave that wonderful activity out at Easter time. The kids were so proud of their beautiful eggs, they wanted the Easter Bunny to hide the real eggs as well. When morning came, and the real eggs were found they just got passed by. Go figure!

Opening Day at Lagoon. A gorgeous, sunny, 40 degree day.

Yes, we are wearing winter clothing. Remember - " a gorgeous, sunny 40 degree day"

The plus side of going in less than warm weather : No lines to wait in.
