More Valentines

I couldn't get the picture to work on this post so I will just have to write it out. Miriam gave Thad and me a nice valentine! The card was a pretty heart with Happy Valentines Day written on the front. When opened the top half had a drawing of Thad Miriam and Me with I love you above it. The note that followed is my favorite part.

"Dear mom and Dad you are the best mom and dad I ever had. But I wish that we could have pizza today. Can we have pizza today? That would be asom! I love you so much! from Miriam." (Spelling and punctuation left as in note)

Sunday Snack

Sunday as I was laying down for a nap I heard the door creak open. "Mommy, are you awake?" Miriam said as she tiptoed in. "I'm trying to sleep, what do you need." I said trying to make as little movement as possible so I could go back to sleep easily. "Well, when you wake up I made you a snack." Then she left. How thoughtful.

Welcome 2011

Since Christmas is a few weeks past I regret to say I am not going to catch up on those photos. Please use your imagination on the Kendell Christmas events. Since the new year has started, we have done a few fun things. Thad and I attended an ugly sweater party where we were to bring a white elephant gift. Here is what we took. You have to picture it a little different. We had it printed in black and white glossy, put in a frame and added our autographs.


I have learned I might be waiting too long throughout the day to feed our kids. One was so hungry, he got into the fridge and started eating the jello salad before dinner. I guess maybe he needed a small appetizer to tide him over.

Thad took Joseph skiing for the first time. Amazingly enough, they made it an entire day together learning something new and are both still alive and happy. A great time was had by both parties and Joseph is excited to go again. Thad would like to get the rest of us on the ski hill in the next few years. We'll see.

Temple Square Lights

We enjoyed an evening at temple square with Joelle, RJ and Addison. It was our third time this year and for me, it never gets old. Good times!
