April Fool's
Lot's of fun this year for April fools! The kids gave their friends donut seeds. For dinner I made them grilled cheese sandwich's made out of orange frosting and pound cake baked in a loaf pan. Joseph and Miriam took a minute to taste their sandwich because they thought it looked weird. Taylor dug right in and ate it all up. Go figure. The best was waiting for Thad to get home. After putting the kids to bed he got his cookies and milk ready, the computer on and went to get into bed for a relaxing night of television and cookies. Oh wait!! Something was not right. He couldn't get his feet all the way in the bed. Hahahahahahahahahah. I didn't even mind remaking the bed.
Businessman of the Year
Joseph's school had an economics project this year where they had a certain amount of money to use for the project. The objective was to think of something they could sell and earn the most money. Joseph made tic-tac-toe board from interfacing, using pom-poms for the pieces you put on the board. He also made how to instructions. Some of the instructions had a hidden bonus on the back for a free desk clean. He got second highest in the 3rd grade.

Ya gotta love kids!
Thad and I have never felt better about ourselves than we did this weekend after Miriam and Taylor supplied us with loving comments.
Saturday morning: "mom, are you growing a beard?" Miriam Kendell age 7
Sunday morning: "Dad, you work to much and get fat." Taylor Kendell age 3
Such confidence boosters!!!!

More Valentines
I couldn't get the picture to work on this post so I will just have to write it out. Miriam gave Thad and me a nice valentine! The card was a pretty heart with Happy Valentines Day written on the front. When opened the top half had a drawing of Thad Miriam and Me with I love you above it. The note that followed is my favorite part.
"Dear mom and Dad you are the best mom and dad I ever had. But I wish that we could have pizza today. Can we have pizza today? That would be asom! I love you so much! from Miriam." (Spelling and punctuation left as in note)
