Piano Recital

This years piano recital. I hit another record of a 17 minute recital. YES!! I also had my students dress up like their songs. We had everything from a cavewomen to a cowbly and everything inbetween. ( side note: no, Taylor did not play a piano piece. He just wanted to fit in with everyone else )

Out with the old. In with the new!!

More Valentines

I couldn't get the picture to work on this post so I will just have to write it out. Miriam gave Thad and me a nice valentine! The card was a pretty heart with Happy Valentines Day written on the front. When opened the top half had a drawing of Thad Miriam and Me with I love you above it. The note that followed is my favorite part.

"Dear mom and Dad you are the best mom and dad I ever had. But I wish that we could have pizza today. Can we have pizza today? That would be asom! I love you so much! from Miriam." (Spelling and punctuation left as in note)

Sunday Snack

Sunday as I was laying down for a nap I heard the door creak open. "Mommy, are you awake?" Miriam said as she tiptoed in. "I'm trying to sleep, what do you need." I said trying to make as little movement as possible so I could go back to sleep easily. "Well, when you wake up I made you a snack." Then she left. How thoughtful.
