Tooth number 2
It finally fell out. Literally just fell out as Miriam sat up in her bed one morning. In the Kendell family we like to let the tooth get so loose it is hanging by a thread before considering it to be loose enough to come out. Even then, wanting to wiggle the said loose tooth causes terror and crying. It must come from the Kendell side. (Walkers are much braver) The tooth fairy, stealth as always, took the tooth and left a dollar.

Taylor's first day of school
This morning, I dropped the big kids off at school and then continued to drive Taylor to preschool. When we parked, I hadn't even shut off the car when he said "bye mom". I guess he in not too sad about not being at home all day with me. I have to admit, I went jogging all by myself and at first I felt a little lonely, and then it turned into a feeling of freedom. After picking him up all he would tell me is they learned letters and some girl has a moustache. ( I am really hoping it is not his teacher, and if it is I am really really hoping he doesn't say anything!)

First Day of School
"It's the most wonderful time of the year...." I know typically that is a Christmas song; but a staples commercial I saw a few years back brought it out in a whole new light. Both Miriam and Joseph were very excited this morning and were up and in the shower by 6:40 without fighting. I finally had to ask Joseph to take off his backpack because wearing a backpack for 40 minutes will make any persons back hurt. (he gets a little nervous about being late) They got to school only a little late (no buses so they depend on me) and each of them forgot all of their supplies in the car (and I didn't even notice) One day down - the rest of the year to go.

24th of July Celebration
We have decided the best place to go for the 24th of July celebration is good ol' St. Anthony Idaho. I am a little late getting these pictures up; but better late than never.

It may seem by looking at this photo that we had a horrible time floating the river. In reality, after getting over the slime and the cold big water, we all had a very nice time. Once the crying stopped all we had to listen to was the sound of the water and little voices blaming one another for getting the other wet first. At least there wasn't crying added to the fighting.

The rodeo was a favorite for everyone!! Joseph and Miriam even did the calf chase. I thought for sure they would be tippy toeing through the dirt; but they got right in there and Joseph got so close to getting some money off the cow. I don't think I have ever seen him move so fast. Money is a great motivator!!

Candy is also a great motivator!!!!
